The Art of the European Kitchen
Four decades in pursuit of the perfect kitchen.
DOCA began in 1986 in Vinaròs, on Spain's Mediterranean coast, as a maker of fine furniture. In time, that obsession with material, proportion and craft found its truest expression in the kitchen — the room where a home actually lives.
Today DOCA designs and manufactures in Spain and brings that European sensibility to Brookline, serving Boston and all of New England from a single, considered showroom. Every kitchen is made to measure. None is made twice.

without being functional.”
Five expressions. One standard.
Every DOCA kitchen is bespoke — yet each begins with a point of view. These are the five we return to most.
- 01ClassicHeritage warmth, quietly engineered.
- 02CoastalLight, air, and the calm of the shoreline.
- 03EuropeanArchitectural lines, exacting materials.
- 04TransitionalWhere timeless meets contemporary.
- 05ModernPure form, seamless function.

Classic
Traditional aesthetics, reimagined with quietly modern function. Framed cabinetry, honest woods and hand-applied finishes carry the warmth of a kitchen that has always been there — and beneath them, the quiet intelligence of modern engineering. Classic is for the home that wants to feel rooted, and run effortlessly.

Coastal
An aesthetic drawn from the shoreline — pale woods, soft whites, and light that moves through the room. Coastal kitchens are sanctuaries of calm: open, airy and unhurried, finished in materials that feel as good as they look. The result is a room that breathes, wherever the water is.

European
The discipline DOCA was built on. Sleek, handleless cabinetry; premium materials in honest combination; layouts engineered to the millimetre. Walnut meets Calacatta; steel meets stone. European is architecture for the kitchen — confident, exact, and unmistakably continental.

Transitional
The meeting point of two eras. Transitional kitchens pair the timeless elegance of traditional design with the clean function of the contemporary — neither nostalgic nor cold. It is, for many, the most liveable luxury: a kitchen that will look as considered in twenty years as it does today.

Modern
Pure form, seamless function. Modern strips the kitchen to its essentials and perfects each one — uninterrupted surfaces, integrated appliances, and light and shadow left to do the decorating. Exquisite materials, quietly deployed. Nothing extra. Nothing missing.

Chosen by hand.
Made to last.
DOCA combines industrial precision with finishing done by hand. Our palette runs from natural walnut, oak and chestnut to ebony, natural stone, steel, glass, and lacquers in silk, gloss and matte — every surface selected for how it lives over decades.

The room, continued.
A DOCA kitchen rarely stops at the kitchen. Our living and dining systems carry the same materials and the same hand into the spaces around it — media walls, dining storage, bar and display — so the whole floor reads as one composition.

Order, beautifully kept.
Made-to-measure wardrobes and dressing rooms in the same finishes as your kitchen — leather, glass, lacquer and wood — fitted to the room and to the life inside it. Luxury, here, is everything in its place.

See it, and feel the difference.
A kitchen is experienced, not observed. Our Brookline showroom lets you open the drawers, run your hand along the stone, and see how a DOCA kitchen actually moves. Come with your plans, your inspiration, or simply your curiosity.
